24 / 7 Library Research

Did you know that you can research that big school project even when the library is closed? Late nights, Sundays, holidays, whenever you can't get to the library, you can still search our online databases. The databases are accessible through the library web site. All you need is a computer with an internet connection and your library card to access the most up-to-date information available.

The online databases cover a wide variety of topics, including biographies, controversial issues, current events, health and medicine, history, literature, and science. Encyclopedia, magazine, journal, and newspaper articles are available, many in full-text.

Unlike many generic web site, databases contain authoritative information and even though you need an internet connection to use them, using a database is not the same as using information from a web site. Try it the next time you have a big assignment.
